Back Again...-ish!

Hi all.

Thanks for bearing with my through this weird time...I saw the doc yesterday and the ankle seems on the way to recovery, pending physio, and tonight I actually managed to RUN. For about a yard, before I felt the twinge pull me up short...but that's a damn sight more than I was doing last weekend!

I've been splitting my time between my own stuff - the 'Maranatha' book which I've just finished a bunch of illustrations for. No-one on lulu.com told me that having an ISBN number and putting this stuff out thru' the retail channels would bump up the cover price by a quid! (UK Slang = 1 GBP) So that potential readers wouldn't be out off, I spent last night and half today pouring out 5 exclusive pix for the project. I'm sure glad I ain't in this for the money (yet), as it's cost enough so far.

I may post a pic or two on here later, but at the moment I'd like to keep the exclusive continet, er, exclusive.

Also working away on the comic script commissions, and the marketing stuff for my buddy's IT company. It's all coming together, but slower than I'd really want. Switching to Broadband (next week - I hope ! ) has also been tying up time, as has urgent IT support at my folks'.

So, that's my story so far. I'll be back runnin' and jumpin' over stuff before you can say ' Watch out for that root...', and back on DA fulltime!

Well ever since I heard the live version of 'Horses' on the 2-CD re-release of the first album, I realised that she was just as intense live as on record...and wished she would play in Scotland :( I actually got into her originally through her work for Blue Oyster Cult over the years, my fave band of all time >:)

Honestly, if you ever get the chance to see her live then snap it up with both hands, I can't recommend it enough. She's so full of energy and her put-downs on any heckler are a must-see! Nice to meet another Patti fan! :D
