This is a serious notice for any artist who would like to submit any art to a future exhibition. The story is this...

My other half, who's based in London, saw this piece o'mine - [link] - and hit on the idea of running a themed exhibition of art based around sofas. Hence - "Sofa, So Good".

The theme is open, as is the medium, so long as it features a sofa prominently. It can be any activity or concept involving a sofa, settee, couch, chaize-longe or similar item of furniture, in any genre and any style.

If you have existing artwork onine or anywhere else you'd like to submit, just reply to this journal with a link. Likewise, if you want to create something fresh and new, let me know. All copyrights will of course remain with the original artists, so if you do submit, be sure to provide your full name and preferred contact details so intereted parties can get in touch for commissions, etc. The idea of the project is basically to showcase and publicise as many artists who care to contribute.

We've no way of knowing yet how big this exhibition will be, or whether it will exist in reality or online only. If we can drum up enough enthusiasm and contributions, then we'll see what we can arrange.
